Shoot Em Up Frames

Ive sort of had aritsts block the last few days for some reason, real bad, and dunno why, Had toruble with ideas and even with ideas it seemed like I couldnt draw a thing, like I had forgotten how to draw everything and couldnt even get a decent gesture or even simple face correct. I try to atleast do a sketch every day to try and avoid this but guess it isnt fool-proof cuz even though i spent hours at the drawing board, i hated everything and seemed to have taken 3 steps back.

Anyway an old exercise I used to do was watching a cool action movie, in this case SHOOT EM UP, and just freezing on individual frames that are good shots and drawing a quick sketch of them. I usually do a dozen or more real fast but got inspired with the first couple and spent a bit of extra time on them, and afterit was done I turned off the lineart layer and just kept the shadows and it looked pretty cool so this is what I ended up with, and also seem to have broken out of the funk for now. Had a good art night.
